It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Presbyterian Christian had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They skirted past the Madison-Ridgeland Academy Patriots 7-6. The win was nothing new for the Bobcats as they're now sitting on five straight.

Bankston Walters was excellent, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Jet Henderson was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Presbyterian Christian's record now sits at 22-13. As for Madison-Ridgeland Academy, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 20-14.

As of now, neither Presbyterian Christian nor the Patriots have any future games scheduled.
