Volleyball Recap: Troy Comes Up Short on the Road Against Northmont + How To Watch

Troy kicked off their season on the road on Monday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against the Northmont Thunderbolts, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Noel Baker paced Troy's offense, picking up 12 kills. Baker got some help from Stella Boehringer and her 21 assists.

The win (which was Northmont's third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Troy has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Sidney on the 19th. As for Northmont, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will take on Centerville at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th. This will be the Thunderbolts' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
