Football Recap: Bishop Feehan Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Bishop Feehan had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They took down the St. Mary's Spartans 21-7. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Shamrocks also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2024.

Xavier Baker was his usual excellent self, rushing for 140 yards and one TD, while also picking up 32 receiving yards. Those 140 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

Baker was just one part of a punishing run game: Bishop Feehan was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 211 rushing yards. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their rushing yard total in three consecutive games.

Bishop Feehan's record now sits at 3-1. As for St. Mary's, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Bishop Feehan has already played their next matchup, a 35-13 win against Boston College High on the 4th. As for St. Mary's, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 14-7 defeat against Shawsheen Valley Tech on the 3rd.
