Basketball Recap: Midland Trail Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Midland Trail can now relate to. They received a blow on Friday as they fell 67-52 to the Summers County Bobcats. The loss continues a trend for the Patriots in their matchups with the Bobcats: they've now lost eight in a row.

Midland Trail's defeat dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Summers County, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Midland Trail nor Summers County have any future games scheduled.
