Baseball Recap: Lakeside Christian Takes a Loss

Lakeside Christian suffered their biggest defeat since April 29, 2024 on Wednesday. They lost 10-1 to the Keswick Christian Crusaders. The Lions were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Crusaders earlier this season, when they won 6-3.

Lakeside Christian saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chris Aguilera Pena, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Lakeside Christian now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Keswick Christian, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 8-6.

Lakeside Christian and Keswick Christian will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time Lakeside Christian sees the field they'll take on Fivay at 7:00 p.m. on the 25th. As for Keswick Christian, their break will end when they face Indian Rocks Christian at 7:00 p.m. on the 25th.
