Montesano is a perfect 10-0 against Tenino since October of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will head out on the road to face off against the Beavers at 7:00 p.m. Montesano knows how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with four goals or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Tenino likes a good challenge.

Montesano hadn't beaten Elma on the road since October 20, 2022 but that history sure didn't bother them on Thursday. The Bulldogs put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 4-1 win. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Montesano's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 58th, while Elma are ranked 217th).

Jaelyn Butterfield and Lex Stanfield scored all four of Montesano's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 29 goals.

Meanwhile, Tenino kept a clean sheet against Rochester on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 2-0. Give Tenino's defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Montesano has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-1-2 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 30 goals over those six matches. As for Tenino, their win bumped their record up to 8-2-4.

Montesano took their victory against Tenino when the teams last played back in September by a conclusive 4-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
