Basketball Recap: Santa Fe Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Santa Fe can now relate to. They came up short against the Albuquerque Bulldogs on Saturday, falling 72-49. The Demons have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.

Santa Fe's loss dropped their record down to 19-10. As for Albuquerque, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record this season.

Santa Fe does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Albuquerque, they will challenge Sandia at 1:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Sandia will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something Albuquerque surely won't give up without a fight.
