Basketball Recap: West Wendover Skates Past North Tahoe with Ease

West Wendover had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the North Tahoe Lakers 69-41 on Friday. The Wolverines haven't had any issues with the Lakers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Estaban Correa continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 12-for-16 to rack up 31 points along with six assists and three steals. His evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 18 points. Another player making a difference was Adryan Carlos, who went 5-for-11 on his way to 12 points and seven steals.

West Wendover's victory bumped their record up to 24-4. As for North Tahoe, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 15-11 record this season.

Coming up, West Wendover won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Incline at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. West Wendover is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 65.5 points per game this season. North Tahoe does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
