Lake Weir and Dunnellon are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2021, but not for long. The Hurricanes will be playing in front of their home fans against the Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Lake Weir saw some tournament action on Tuesday. They came up short against Forest, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-14, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Dunnellon came up short against West Port on Monday and fell 3-1.

Dunnellon has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season. As for Lake Weir, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.

Lake Weir beat Dunnellon 3-1 in their previous meeting back in March. Will the Hurricanes repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
