Baseball Recap: Advanced Math & Science Academy Eagles vs. Doherty Memorial Highlanders
Advanced Math & Science Academy waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 9-5 victory over the Doherty Memorial Highlanders. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered a 7-4 loss the last time these two teams met.

Drew Laidley made a splash no matter where he played. He pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Laidley was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with four stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high.
