Soccer Game Preview: Rancho Dominguez vs. Narbonne

Rancho Dominguez hasn't had much luck against Narbonne recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Rancho Dominguez Lobos will head out on the road to challenge the Narbonne Gauchos at 4:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Rancho Dominguez is headed into Wednesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their ninth straight game on Friday. They lost 8-1 to Carson. While losing is never fun, the Lobos can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 1114th, while the Colts are ranked 324th).

Meanwhile, Narbonne managed to keep up with Banning until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Narbonne came up short against Banning, falling 3-0. The Gauchos have struggled against the Pilots recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Narbonne's loss dropped their record down to 7-4-3. As for Rancho Dominguez, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9.

Rancho Dominguez came up short against Narbonne in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, falling 2-0. Can Rancho Dominguez avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
