Softball Recap: Edsel Ford Comes Up Short

Edsel Ford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 10-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Taylor Griffins. The Thunderbirds were not able to make up for their loss to the Griffins from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Edsel Ford's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Taylor, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Edsel Ford will host Roosevelt at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Thunderbirds will need to watch out since the Bears have now posted at least ten runs in their last five matchups. As for Taylor, they will be playing at home against Anderson at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
