Softball Recap: Madison Find Success

Madison took a ten-run loss the last time they faced off against Clarksburg, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Mustangs came out on top in a nail-biter against the Rockets on Friday, sneaking past 7-6. This was payback for the Mustangs, who suffered a 14-4 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Madison's victory bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Clarksburg, they dropped their record down to 6-7 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Madison will take on Riverside at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Clarksburg, they will head out to square off against Middleton at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
