Caldwell had lost five straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped down to 1-1 to make it six. They were dealt a 55-14 defeat at the hands of the Robinson Rockets. The Hornets were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-14.

When it comes to explaining why Caldwell lost, don't look at Coy Becka. Despite the final result, he picked up 142 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also rushed for 128 yards. Becka really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 74 yards.

His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 101 rushing yards dating back to last season. Brice McCurdy was in the mix too, providing Robinson with two scores.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Caldwell will face off against Jarrell at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Robinson, they will head out to square off against Alvarado at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
