Whitewright waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Bonham Warriors. That's more bragging rights for the Tigers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

While Whitewright won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-15.

Whitewright's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Bonham, their defeat was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Whitewright will host Lindsay at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bonham, they will challenge Mildred at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
