Soccer Game Preview: L.C. Bird vs. Thomas Jefferson

The L.C. Bird Skyhawks will face off against the Thomas Jefferson Vikings at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. L.C. Bird's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

L.C. Bird's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Colonial Heights 1-0. That's two games straight that L.C. Bird have won by just one goal.

Meanwhile, after soaring to four goals the game before, Thomas Jefferson was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They lost 5-0 to Huguenot. Thomas Jefferson haven't had much luck with Huguenot recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Thomas Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for L.C. Bird, the win got them back to even at 4-4-1.
