Softball Recap: Bowie Takes a Loss

After flying high against Grand Prairie two weeks ago, Bowie came back down to earth. The Volunteers came up short against the Arlington Colts on Tuesday, falling 17-5. The loss continues a trend for the Volunteers in their meetings with the Colts: they've now lost eight in a row.

Bowie's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Arlington, they pushed their record up to 15-8 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Bowie has already played their next game, a 16-5 loss against Haltom on the 11th. As for Arlington, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 17-7 win against Lamar on the 11th.
