Basketball Recap: Mazama Comes Up Short

Mazama was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 25th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Eagle Point Eagles, falling 62-22. If the Vikings were looking for revenge after losing 72-15 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Mazama's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Eagle Point, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mazama will head out to take on Ashland at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Eagle Point, they will head out on the road to square off against Corvallis at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
