Basketball Game Preview: Monrovia Bulldogs vs. Brown County Eagles

The Monrovia Bulldogs will head out to square off against the Brown County Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Monrovia is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.

Last Saturday, Monrovia lost to University at home by a 51-37 margin. The matchup marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Brown County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. The game between them and Shakamak didn't end well, with Brown County falling 70-54.

Monrovia's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Brown County, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.

Monrovia took their victory against Brown County in their previous matchup back in January of 2024 by a conclusive 87-62. The rematch might be a little tougher for Monrovia since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
