Basketball Recap: Capitol Comes Up Short

Capitol was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 42-13 loss at the hands of the East Feliciana Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 44-7 back in January.

Capitol's defeat dropped their record down to 3-22. As for East Feliciana, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.

We've got a battle between Lions coming up. Capitol is facing Covington at the right time seeing as Covington is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for East Feliciana, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 58-36 victory against Episcopal on the 6th.
