Football Recap: Decatur Wins Going Away Against Tri-Cities + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Woodward Academy, Decatur was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 34-12 margin over Tri-Cities. The high-scoring effort was just what Decatur needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

It was another big night for Sadur Salahuddin, who rushed for 160 yards and three scores while picking up 10.0 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 156 rushing yards.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Decatur proved: they limited Tri-Cities to a paltry 2.7 yards per carry. Decatur didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged ten.

Although Tri-Cities took the loss, they still got scores from Nakia Jackson lll and Ricky Pitts.

Decatur's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Tri-Cities, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

As of now, neither Decatur nor Tri-Cities have any future games scheduled.
