Baseball Recap: Blackstone Valley Prep Comes Up Short

After flying high against Times Squared Academy on Wednesday, Blackstone Valley Prep came back down to earth. The PRIDE fell just short of the Juanita Sanchez Complex Cavaliers by a score of 2-0 on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cavaliers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-5 two weeks ago.

Blackstone Valley Prep saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Noah Ferreira, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Blackstone Valley Prep's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Juanita Sanchez Complex, they pushed their record up to 5-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Blackstone Valley Prep will square off against North Smithfield at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Juanita Sanchez Complex, they will take on Mt. Pleasant at 11:00 a.m. on Friday.
