Basketball Recap: Parkview Christian Comes Up Short

Parkview Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 64-8 loss at the hands of the Pawnee City Indians. The Patriots were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Indians apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Pawnee City found their leader in sophomore Kinsley Benson, who went 13-for-14 to rack up 29 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Benson has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Haylee Plager, who posted seven points and nine rebounds.

Parkview Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Pawnee City, their record is now 7-15.

As of now, neither Parkview Christian nor Pawnee City have any future games scheduled.
