Volleyball Recap: Roswell Comes Up Short

Roswell lost against Pope back in August of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Hornets took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Greyhounds.

While Roswell was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-23.

Roswell's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Pope, the victory (which was their 18th in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 2-0.

Coming up, Roswell will be taking part in a tournament against Woodstock at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Pope, they will welcome Walton at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
