Recap: Cadott Hornets vs. Osseo-Fairchild Thunder
The Cadott Hornets's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. They opened the new year with a less-than-successful 70-63 loss to Osseo-Fairchild. Cadott was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Osseo-Fairchild apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.
Cadott's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Emma Kowalczyk, who scored 16 points along with nine rebounds. Kasey Moldrem was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with five rebounds.
Cadott has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season. As for Osseo-Fairchild, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cadott will take on Whitehall at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Osseo-Fairchild, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Regis at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
