Basketball Recap: Morgan Comes Up Short

Morgan was the 62-54 winner over Sky View when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Trojans fell 47-39 to the Bobcats on Monday. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Morgan still got an impressive performance from Zoe Rockenfield, who posted 18 points along with seven assists and five rebounds. Kamry Wardell also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.

Morgan's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Sky View, their win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0.

Coming up, Morgan won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Syracuse at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sky View, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Davis at 7:00 p.m. on December 2.
