It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Aquinas can now relate to. They lost 8-2 to the Villa Park Spartans on Tuesday. The Falcons' loss signaled the end of their ten-game winning streak.

Aquinas saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carter Hadnot, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one double. Another was Estaban Olazaba, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Aquinas' defeat dropped their record down to 25-3. As for Villa Park, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 24-6.
