Josh Ortman made a splash, striking out 13 batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off two hits. He was dominant the last time he took on Arrupe Jesuit back in May of 2024, so they probably should've seen this coming. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his third in a row with one or fewer earned runs. On the year, Ortman has an ERA of 3.68 over 27.2 innings pitched.
