With a playoff win on the line, Seven Lakes rose to the challenge on Friday. Everything went their way against the Ridge Point Panthers as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Spartans were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Panthers, so the Spartans were just returning the favor.
Gracie Hobin paced Seven Lakes' offense, picking up 13 kills. Hobin got some help from Keira Do and her 27 assists. Hobin was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.
Despite the loss, Ridge Point still got an impressive performance from Piper Marquart, who had 18 digs and one assist. With that strong performance, Marquart is now averaging an impressive 10.1 digs per game.
