Volleyball Recap: Westerville Central Comes Up Short

Westerville Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Olentangy Berlin Bears. The Warhawks were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bears from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Olentangy Berlin scored at least 17 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-17, 25-17.

Westerville Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Olentangy Berlin, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Westerville Central has already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Hilliard Darby on the 10th. As for Olentangy Berlin, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Olentangy on the 10th.
