East Wilkes had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. Everything went their way against the Elkin Buckin' Elks as they made off with  a  9-1 victory. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season,  with their most recent  win being a  5-2  victory  back in March.
 Elijah Johnson and  Seth Lambert made a big impact no matter where they played. On the mound,  Johnson   struck out eight batters over  six innings while giving up just one earned run off   four  hits. Meanwhile,  Lambert   tossed one inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. That's the most  strikeouts  Johnson has posted since back in March. At bat,  Johnson  went a perfect 3-for-3 with one  run, one  double,  and one  RBI, while  Lambert  went 2-for-4 with two  runs, one  double,  and one  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Braylen Walker was a standout: he went 1-for-3 with three  runs and one  stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of  Mason Jones, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with two  runs.
 East Wilkes  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 11  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least nine  hits in three consecutive  matchups.
East Wilkes' record now sits at 14-6. As for Elkin, their loss dropped their record down to 6-16.
 East Wilkes has already played their next game,  a  6-1  win against Mount Airy on the 29th. As for Elkin, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  13-3  defeat against South Stanly on the 6th.
