Basketball Game Preview: Hebron Hawks vs. Little Elm Lobos

The Hebron Hawks will venture away from home to square off against the Little Elm Lobos at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

On Tuesday, Hebron was beaten by Guyer 77-34. While losing is never fun, the Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 210th, while the Wildcats are ranked 18th).

Meanwhile, Little Elm was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 67-60 to Coppell.

Hebron has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record this season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.5 points per game. As for Little Elm, their loss dropped their record down to 12-5.

Hebron strolled past Little Elm when the teams last played back in November of 2022 by a score of 55-39. Will Hebron repeat their success, or does Little Elm have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
