Basketball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Saddleback

Saddleback had won two straight games and Christopher Trotter did his part to make it three on Tuesday. The Saddleback Roadrunners breezed by the Magnolia Sentinels to the tune of 72-34 thanks in part to Trotter, who went 6 of 11 from beyond the arc en route to 34 points and seven boards. That makes it five consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Saddleback's points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Angel Soberanis, who posted 13 points and three steals. What's more, he also racked up three assists, the most he's had since back in November of 2024.

Saddleback's win bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Magnolia, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-13.

Saddleback has already played their next match, a 77-12 victory against Eastside Christian on the 16th. Magnolia has also already played their next game (against Bolsa Grande), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
