Soccer Recap: Marcellus Turns Things Around After Road Loss + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Marcellus, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They never let the Cazenovia Lakers get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory on Monday. The win was all the more spectacular given Marcellus' disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York soccer rankings (they are ranked 184th, while Cazenovia are ranked 29th).

Marcellus has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those five matchups. As for Cazenovia, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2-2.
