Basketball Recap: Kotzebue Comes Up Short

Kotzebue was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Nome-Beltz Nanooks, falling 85-46. While losing is never fun, the Huskies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alaska basketball rankings (they are ranked 88th, while the Nanooks are ranked third).

Kotzebue's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Nome-Beltz, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 21-2.

As of now, neither Kotzebue nor Nome-Beltz have any future games scheduled.
