Volleyball Recap: Glencoe Takes a Loss

Glencoe was the 2-1 winner over Southside when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Yellowjackets fell 2-0 to the Panthers on Saturday.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-16.

Mia Talbot paced Glencoe's offense, picking up five kills. Talbot got some help from Kinlee Montgomery and her five assists.

Glencoe's defeat dropped their record down to 22-10. As for Southside, their win bumped their record up to 16-12.

Glencoe didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Hokes Bluff on the 4th. Hopefully Southside paid attention to the Yellowjackets' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Yellowjackets at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
