Volleyball Game Preview: Rock Bridge Bruins vs. Battle Spartans

After both having extra time off, the Rock Bridge Bruins and the Battle Spartans will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Rock Bridge is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.

Rock Bridge's tournament run continued when they took on Eureka on Saturday. The Bruins fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 2-1.

Meanwhile, Battle came up short against Rock Bridge on Thursday, falling 3-0.

Battle was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 26-24, 25-19.

Battle's loss dropped their record down to 2-11-1. As for Rock Bridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-15.

Rock Bridge took their victory against Battle when the teams last played on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bruins since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
