Soccer Game Preview: Bluffton vs. River Bluff

The Bluffton Bobcats are taking a road trip to face off against the River Bluff Gators at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Bluffton has struggled recently with three losses in a row, while River Bluff will arrive with four straight wins.

Bluffton fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Ashley Ridge on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Swamp Foxes by a score of 2-1. That's two games in a row now that Bluffton have lost by just one goal.

Meanwhile, River Bluff kept a clean sheet against West Florence on Thursday. They came out on top against the Knights by a score of 2-0. Two seems to be a good number for River Bluff as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of goals in their previous game.

Mason Swann and Charlie Lohr scored both of River Bluff's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

River Bluff's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Bluffton, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
