After a string of three wins, Chicago University's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They came up short against Southland College Prep, falling 60-35.

Southland College Prep's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tristan Garner, who posted seven points in addition to five boards and four steals. Robert Boyd Jr. was another key player, putting up eight points and six rebounds.

Chicago University's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Southland College Prep, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.

Coming up, Chicago University will square off against Latin at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Southland College Prep, they will take on Manley in a tournament on Monday. Southland College Prep will need to watch out since the Wildcats have now posted at least 55 points in their last three matchups.
