            Softball Recap: Glenmora Wildcats vs. Oak Hill Rams        
        
		
        
        
            After flying high against Plainview  last Tuesday, Glenmora came back down to earth. The Glenmora Wildcats took  a  12-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Oak Hill Rams on Thursday. The Wildcats have struggled against the Rams recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meetings.
 Tegan Webster-Wilkes stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she fired off two  home runs while going 2-for-4. Those  two  home runs gave  her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Wendy Dupre, who  went a perfect 4-for-4 with one  home run and two  runs.
 Webster-Wilkes wasn't the only one working in the  home run department: Glenmora  lost a few balls and  finished the game with five  home runs. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Oak Hill only  one  home run.
Glenmora's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Oak Hill, the  win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-6.
 Looking ahead, Glenmora will be playing in front of their home fans against Pickering  at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday. Pickering has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed nine  runs per game on average), something Glenmora will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Oak Hill, they will head out to  square off against Marksville  at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday. Oak Hill is facing Marksville at the right time seeing as Marksville is stuck on  a  three-game losing streak.
