Softball Recap: Crawford County Wolfpack vs. Christian Academy Warriors
Crawford County extended their losing streak to four on Tuesday, dropping them down to 2-7. They came up short against the Christian Academy Warriors, falling 16-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wolfpack of the 4-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2025.

Brynn Ingle made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Karmann Smith also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
As for Christian Academy, the victory got them back to even at 4-4. 16 seems to be a good number for them as the team scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.
On Christian Academy's side, Jolynn Lawyer made a splash while hitting and pitching. She tossed five innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. Lawyer was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and one run. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2025.
In other batting news, Carly Stevens was incredible, going 3-for-5 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Another player making a difference was Ella Peach, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Crawford County will head out to take on Forest Park at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Rangers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.25 runs per game on average), something the Wolfpack will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Christian Academy, they will venture away from home to face off against South Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
