Basketball Recap: Sugar-Salem Victorious

Sugar-Salem hadn't done well against Marsh Valley recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Sugar-Salem Diggers snuck past the Marsh Valley Eagles with a 53-47 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 64-52 back in December of 2024.

Sugar-Salem's win bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Marsh Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.

When Sugar-Salem and Marsh Valley next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Sugar-Salem will try to stop Snake River's five-game winning streak when the meet at 4:30 p.m. on January 24th. Meanwhile, Marsh Valley will challenge Teton and their three-game winning streak at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
