Mississinawa Valley made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Franklin Monroe, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Blackhawks blew past the Jets 13-1 on Monday. The Blackhawks' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Cora Hoggatt was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3. Those runs were her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Gentry Newbauer, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Mississinawa Valley's win ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-4. As for Franklin Monroe, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coming up, Mississinawa Valley will head out to square off against National Trail at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Franklin Monroe, they will host Stebbins at 5:00 p.m. on the 15th.
