Oran had to endure an 11-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They blew past the Oak Ridge Blue Jays 64-40 on Friday. The Eagles' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Oran's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Oak Ridge, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Oran has already played their next match, a 50-43 defeat against Leopold on the 30th. As for Oak Ridge, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Scott City at 6:00 p.m. on January 7th.
