Baseball Recap: Westland Hialeah Takes a Loss

Westland Hialeah lost against Northwestern back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wildcats lost 11-1 to the Bulls.

Westland Hialeah's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Northwestern, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Westland Hialeah and Northwestern are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Wildcats will square off against Monsignor Pace at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Westland Hialeah is facing the Spartans at the right time seeing as the Spartans are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Northwestern, they will face off against South Miami at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
