Soccer Recap: Jasper County Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Jasper County was not quite Union Grove's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Wolverines by a score of 1-0. If Jasper County were looking for revenge after losing 4-2 to Union Grove when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Jasper County has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season. As for Union Grove, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jasper County will take on Creekside Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Union Grove, they will face off against Islands at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
