Softball Recap: Baldwin Triumphs

Baldwin is still undefeated this season after their game against Osage City on Monday, but Osage City came as close as anyone has to beating them. The Bulldogs came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 7-6 W against the Indians. While the Bulldogs didn't have the best season last year (they finished 3-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Baldwin's victory bumped their record up to 4-0-1. As for Osage City, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Baldwin will venture away from home to challenge Ottawa at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cyclones will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last. As for Osage City, they will take on Wabaunsee at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
