Soccer Recap: Clinton Has No Trouble Against Pine Forest

Clinton kept a clean sheet against Pine Forest on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 5-0 margin over the Trojans. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Clinton.

They hit Pine Forest with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Holden Spell (2), Nelson Guerrero, Emilson Marcia, and Brandt Sumner.

Clinton has also opened the season with a perfect 2-0 record. As for Pine Forest, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Clinton will face off against Newton-Conover at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pine Forest, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Holly Springs at 7:00 p.m. on the 28th.
