Softball Recap: Taylor Takes a Loss

Taylor lost against Ross back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Yellowjackets fell 5-2 to the Rams.

Ellie Stafford spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and two unearned) runs on ten hits and racked up six Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.

Taylor's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Ross, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-3.

Coming up, Taylor is taking a road trip to square off against Madeira at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Ross, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mount Notre Dame at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
