Football Recap: Hamilton's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak on the Road + How To Watch

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Hamilton couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They came up short against the Billings Central Catholic Rams on Friday, falling 27-7. The Broncs were red-hot offensively heading into the game (they scored no less than 31 points in the four matchups prior), but the Rams' defense proved too tough.

Cooper Weston threw for 110 yards and one TD. Jackson Lubke was his top target, picking up 49 receiving yards. On the ground, Jude Widmer rushed for 29 yards.

William Snell was his usual excellent self, rushing for 82 yards and one score for Billings Central Catholic.

Hamilton's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-2. As for Billings Central Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 10-0.

Hamilton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Billings Central Catholic, they will square off against East Helena at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Vigilantes' defense has only allowed 14.4 points per game this season, so the Rams' offense will have their work cut out for them.
